My 14 year old son shopped around for a new bike. I suggested he look on Amazon. He not only found the bike he wanted, but it was $100 cheaper than the bike shop he was thinking of buying from.
The bike arrived quickly, less than a week. Also, free shipping. The bike wasn't fully assembled, but my son completed the assembly on his own in about an hour or so.
Last, the color. Alot of people have commented that it is a cool color. I guess you don't see many bikes with the matte red color.

I purchased for my 8 year old for Christmas. Assembly wasn't too bad since I have assemble bikes before, but it could be a challenge for a novice. I'm still not sure I rigged the brakes right since it did not come with any instructions and does not stop very well.
